Blown Film Dies

Blown Film Dies

A zipper die/blown film die is a high-precision extrusion mold primarily used for the integrated production of self-sealing plastic films. It is the core component that allows a single blown film machine to extrude both the flat film body and the interlocking zipper tracks (male and female profiles) simultaneously, transforming raw resin into a finished "grip seal" film roll.

The precision of the zipper die directly determines the interlocking force, sealing integrity, and tactile "opening feel" of the self-sealing bag (grip seal bag). As the most critical component in the film blowing process, our dies are engineered to ensure that the male and female profiles match perfectly, providing a reliable and repeatable closure for high-quality packaging.

Features
  • High-Precision Machining

Manufactured from premium alloy steel and processed via high-precision CNC machine tools. This ensures the smoothness of the internal flow channels, effectively preventing melt fracture and ensuring the uniformity of the extruded zipper profiles.

  • Superior Interlocking Design

We provide scientifically engineered male and female profile ratios optimized for various film thicknesses (0.03–0.15 mm). This design ensures that the self-sealing closure is "tightly sealed yet easy to open."

  • Extensive Material Compatibility

Compatible with multiple raw materials such as LDPE and PP. The die design incorporates micron-level compensation adjustments based on the shrinkage rate of different materials to guarantee consistent finished product quality.
